Indirect Wealth in the Year or Month: Can This BaZi Pattern Make Money?
Indirect Wealth in the year or month can point toward money, but by itself it does not do much. The point is plain: Indirect Wealth is unstable, so you should not judge it as useful simply because it sits in the chart.
It needs a pairing. Or it needs something else in the chart to work with it.
Indirect Wealth Needs a Source
A chart can use Wealth to control the Resource stars, the support and learning side of the chart. In that case, the person may earn through skill. They have a practical technique, a usable craft, or some ability they can apply. That can work, and the money can be decent.
But if you want the stronger version, the better setup is output plus Indirect Wealth. That means Shi Shen, the mild output star, or Shang Guan, the Hurting Officer, feeding the Wealth star.
The mechanic matters. Shi Shen and Shang Guan keep drawing out the Day Master’s refined output, then pass that output into Wealth. The Wealth star has a stream behind it instead of sitting there with no supply. That is the good case.
In a reading, Shi Shen and Shang Guan can describe a person’s mental output and ideas. The person keeps thinking, keeps producing, keeps coming up with ways to act. When that output generates Indirect Wealth, the money has somewhere to come from.
The Sharper Version: Shang Guan with Indirect Wealth
If you want a breakout pattern, the source leans more toward Shang Guan plus Indirect Wealth. That pairing is stronger and more aggressive.
It often shows someone doing things in an unconventional way. They may take a slanted route, push into a side path, or choose work that does not follow the usual line. When it works, the results can be strong.
But the same source gives the warning too. When this pattern goes too far off the normal path, problems can appear. And once problems appear, they can be fairly serious.
That is the tradeoff in the reading. A pattern with a high ceiling often has a lower floor. Shang Guan with Indirect Wealth can move hard and fast, but the downside can also hit harder when the direction is too extreme.
